Expectations for success continue to skyrocket for the Lady Wolves on the heels of a 19-win campaign last season. Head coach Logan Brown enters his 10th season on the bench and is all smiles when asked about this year’s squad. “We expect to build upon last year’s success and take it up a notch,” said the Brown. “We return a lot of experience including our leading scorer.” Logan Pruitt (5-8, Sr.) topped the stat charts a year ago averaging 17 points as well as grabbing 5.3 rebounds and using her defensive talents to produce 5.1 steals a game. “Logan is very athletic. Her motor only runs one speed – fast,” said Brown. Adding to the experience factor in the 2021-22 season will be Jacie Lanoy (5-8, Sr.) who totaled 7.2 points per contest plus added 3.0 rebounds and 2.2 steals will reunite with Chloe Summers (5-8, Jr.) whose 10.3 points and 6.0 rebounds will be key to the Lady Wolves success this year. Coach Brown is also excited to see the continued development of Kinsley Barnes (5-9) to provide a consistent inside-outside scoring threat.

Anything worth one’s desire requires hard work and determination to achieve the goal. It’s with that focus and determination, the Wolves enter the 21-22 campaign to prove they’ve got what it take to be successful. Leading the pack will be a pair of guards Raydyn Amos (5-11, Sr.), last year’s leading scorer who averaged 18.0 points per contest and Cody Caraway (5-10, Sr.) whose high energy and leadership is proving to be contagious among his teammates taking this year’s squad to a higher level performance. Jake Parker (5-10, Jr.) who didn’t play last season returns to the court with the passion and competitiveness is a invaluable asset to the lineup. “We’re a very energetic and gritty group that plays hard on every possession,” said coach Bill Martin. “This group of young men are the hardest working kids I’ve ever coached and our three upper classmen are leading by example with character.”
