Broken Bow Girls Cross Country Preview – Presented by Sherrill’s Pharmacy

Coming into the 2022 season, head coach Mikyla Burns will field three dedicated runners for the girls team this season.

“We only have three girls right now, but they are very hard-working athletes. So, I look forward to seeing what they accomplish,” said coach Burns.

Of the three, only one is an upperclassman. Molly Rogers (Sr.) has an interesting story coming into the season.

“Molly is a senior and decide to run cross country this year to support her younger sister Katie Rogers,” said coach Burns.

Katie Rogers is a freshman and new to the varsity team. She brings a tremendous work ethic and with her sister by her side, everyone is excited to see what she can accomplish this year.

Grace Porter (So.) rounds out the team of three and could be one of the smartest runners in the class. Porter and the Rogers sisters will wear the Broken Bow name proud and represent the school and their classmates with honor.
