Coach: Dakota Blackwell
21-22 Record: 3-21
Last season was a tough one for the Wolves, only registering three wins on the season. But as they are at the cusp of a new season, head coach Dakota Blackwell has a lot of optimism for his squad. “We return all but two starters from last year’s team,” Blackwell said. “We also are returning a couple of guys that missed last season due to injury. We are led by our lone senior, Jake Parker, and bring back a lot of experience in juniors Spencer Clinton and Tyson Moss as well as sophomores Dakota Carter and Dalton Hefley. This year’s team is very athletic and had a great off-season in the weight room and we are excited to see that pay off once we return to the court.” Parker (Sr.) will be a leader on and off the court for the Wolves. He will play at the forward position and should have a big impact on this season.
Spencer Clinton (Jr.) will also play at forward and he has put in work in the offseason to be a bigger contributor both offensively and defensively. Guard Tyson Moss (Jr.) brings a strong presence to the floor and will be called on to be a key player for the team. Garret Whitfield (Jr.) will be a force down low. He is a solid rebounder and can score when needed. He will work to wreak havoc on opposing offenses. Also expected to be contributors this season are guard Tye Barnett (Jr.) and Ty Hillis (Jr.). Both are good athletes that work hard and know the game of basketball well. Other Wolves to keep an eye out for are Jaxson Bonner (Jr.), Gabe Gaddis (Jr.), Dakota Carter (So.), Dalton Hefley (So.), Wyatt Fielding (So.), Braxdyn Griffin (So.), Luke Linville (So.), Maverick Alexander (So.), and Bane Reed (So.)
