GIRLS
Coach: Brian Wingfield
22-23 Record: 10-15
The return of five seniors along with an influx of energetic and talented underclassmen the “Lady Cats” are eager to light up the scoreboard this season. This year’s lineup includes length and mobility with Kenadie Watson (6-0, P, Sr.) and Sage Smallwood (5-9, P, Sr.) bringing experience to the front line bolstered by Avery Babb (5-11, P, Fr.). A trio of senior guards will help to solidify the front court including Kassidy Young, (5-5, G, Sr.), Tylie House (5-5, G, Sr.) and Katie Gee (5-6, G, Sr.) along with Ashlynn Lacey (5-9, G, Jr.) and Kinlyn Hembree (5-8, G, Jr.) who provide added skills and scoring touch.
The young but aggressive efforts of Addison Bouffler (5-10, F, So.) along with guard play from Hallie Friscia (5-4, G, So.), Lyndee Harless (5-5, G, So.) and Kelsey Hatchers (5-5, G, So.) give coach Brian Wingfield options in player rotation that also will include freshmen rookie guards Caylee Starrett (5-7, G, Fr.), Autumn Cole (5-4, G, Fr.) Aavri Noel (5-7, G, Fr.) and Kayla Wolfe (5-3, G, Fr.). While Wingfield and the Lady ‘Cats continue to put the pieces together prior to the Christmas holidays, Antlers will know what’s needed for the playoff after competing in the Tushka and MC-6 tournaments in January.
