VYPE:What we’re your goals for the season? How are those coming ?
Eli: My goal for this year is to shoot an average of 90. My coach always has us practicing so it’s coming together really good.
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
Eli: Bad situations happen but don’t make them worse.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Eli: Mrs. Wood because she is like a second mom. She is always giving me advice even if it’s not what I want to hear.
VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
Eli: My dad inspires me because he worked really hard in school to become successful and he pushes me to be like that too.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Eli: Jaxon Jennings because before he graduated he was one of the best on the team but he was also the funniest and most encouraging.
VYPE: what has been your biggest obstacle in your athletic career and how did you overcome it?
Eli: The hardest challenge I’ve had in school is balancing high school classes and concurrent classes. I overcame this by working hard as my dad encouraged me.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Eli: I would go to Broken Bow lake and bring my friends Cayden, Steven, and Chris to go tubing.
VYPE: What do you love about your sport?
Eli: The thing that I love most about golf is that I get to make new friends from different schools all over the state.
VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish. Eli: I want to say thank you to my biggest encouragers: My mom Marcy, my dad Ray, and my sister Mollie.
