Broken Bow’s Kaden Hough – Presented by Pine Cellular

VYPE: When and how did you get started with golf?

Kaden Hough: I started playing golf my freshman year. I wanted to play with Jaxon Jennings and Baylor Bishop.

VYPE: What is your favorite part of golf?

KH: My favorite part of golf is going and playing with my family on the weekends.

VYPE: What is it like playing with your brother [Brady]? What have you tried to teach him?

KH: Me and my brother have always played sports together so it’s pretty normal to be playing with him, but we really try to pay attention to each other when we’re practicing to see if we notice anything fixable.

VYPE: Are you honored to be Broken Bow’s one bag?

KH: I’m pretty honored to be one bag. I have been working to get here since my freshman year.

VYPE: What are your goals for the season?

KH: My goals this season are to shoot somewhere in the 70s and play more consistent.

VYPE: What’s been your favorite memory playing at Broken Bow?

KH: My favorite memory is regionals of my sophomore year. We had a good time at the tournament and on the trip.

VYPE: What have you learned from the golf?

KH: The sport has definitely taught me mental control and to forget anything in a second. There’s always a next chance.

VYPE: Favorite spot to eat in McCurtain County?

KH: My favorite spot to eat is definitely Papa Poblanos.

VYPE: What are your future plans?

KH: My future plans are to attend a technical school and learn a trade of choice.
