One student from Ada High School is not just shining on the dance mat but is also setting a
stellar example for her peers. Laci Estes, a remarkable dancer, has been profoundly
impacted by her coaches, teachers and teammates.
Laci speaks highly of her favorite dance coach, Richard Rambo. “He is a genuinely kind
person and one of my biggest role models!” she said. “He has always helped me refine my
dance technique. He encourages me to do my best and be proud of my performance.”

One remarkable aspect of Laci’s journey is her deep admiration for her teammates. “I
admire all my teammates,” Laci said. “We work hard and grow together.”
Laci recognizes the pivotal role of her teachers, Cara Crawford and Kaile Radford-Jarrett.
These educators have imparted technical knowledge and expertise to her training at
Central Oklahoma Dance Center. “Without their love and expertise, I wouldn’t be where I
am today.”
Laci’s dedication was further exemplified during her participation in the Oklahoma
Summer Arts Institute dance program at Quartz Mountain. This residential two-week
intensive program allowed her to work with exceptional instructors and witness significant
growth in her dance skills.
Dance offers invaluable life lessons. Laci emphasizes the importance of teamwork and
communication: “Dance has taught me teamwork and communication. As a two-year
Cougar team captain, I have learned how to work through issues as a team and maintain
integrity to achieve our goals.”
Dance is not just about the steps; it’s about the memories created. Laci fondly recalls her
favorite memory, “winning a State title with the Level-Up All-Star team at the OSDTDA
Competition in 2021.”
Laci sets her sights high for the season. She aspires to grow as a dancer and, as a member of
the pom squad, aims to clinch a state title.
Beyond high school, Laci has her sights set on becoming a special education teacher. Her
plans reflect her commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others, both on and
off the dance floor.
