VYPE: What are your goals for this season?
Lilly: I hope to play smart and work hard throughout the season, make it to regionals and hopefully win a ring at state!
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
Lilly: Tennis has taught me so much in my life that it’s hard to pick one thing, but I would have to say it has taught me self discipline and that putting in the time is worth it.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Lilly: My favorite teacher would be Ms. Roberts because she is inspirational and she always has a smile on her face. That keeps me smiling.
VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
Lilly: The most inspiring people in my life are my parents. They always make sure I’m on top of things, my grades all the way to tennis. They are always there to cheer me on when I’m on the court!
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Lilly: All my teammates inspire me every single day, from all the friendly competition we have on and off the court and how we always know how to treat each other!
VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?
Lilly: My favorite part of being on the Ada High Tennis Team is all the support I get from my coaches and friends. They always cheer on whoever is on the court and I look up to them all.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Lilly: I would pick to go on a summer vacation in Greece because of all the architecture and the beautiful sights you can see.
VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?
Lilly: I’m passionate about tennis because it makes me get away from any of the problems I might be having that day and just makes me be more outgoing.
VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish. Lilly: I want to thank Coach Swopes, Coach Burden and Coach Watkins. They are always there to cheer us all on and keep our heads up. Without them we wouldn’t be the team we are.
