Some athletes just can’t land on only one sport and that seems to be the case with Ada High
School’s Senior Fisher Marr. Football, Basketball, Track and he made it to state in Shot Put in
Track his Junior year. This young man is definitely the real deal. This involvement in such a
broad spectrum of sporting events has leveled Fisher up in his sportsmanship. He has
embraced humility while standing tough for his team.
Fisher has had quite a few powerful, positive influences in his life from teachers like Mrs.
Hawley and Mrs. Duncan to fellow athlete Caden Ross who helped Fisher learn the ropes and
stand out in the crowd by making the varsity team as a Sophomore. His major influencer is his
dad. Fisher says his dad works hard every day and inspires him to do and be the best he can.
Fisher considers it a huge privilege to represent Ada High School and being able to represent
Block A. He also takes his spiritual life seriously and commits time to reading his bible.
Goals are ever present for Fisher as he is involved in FCA and doing an internship with his
coach in hopes of applying all he/s learned to a career in coaching after college.
Fisher sends out a huge thank you to his family, friends, and Coach Odom for support and
encouragement. He has a great team on and off the field.
