Davis High School senior Paige Miller and her teammates enjoyed a great season on the diamond this year picking up some memorable wins against teams like Community Christian, Ada, Marietta, Henryetta and others. But being on the field with her team is where Miller was most comfortable and at home.
“My favorite thing about my team is having a bond with girls who want to succeed and who have the same goals you do, all working hard to reach their goals,” said Miller.
The senior spent the season at shortstop and was instrumental in helping the team to a 13-19 record this year.
“I love to be able to compete and have fun,” said Miller. “My plans after high school are to play softball at Seminole State and pursue a Nursing career after.”
In the classroom, Miller was just as focused. Putting her studies and grades at the top of her priority list was important to Miller and her future. Like many of her peers, Miller has a favorite subject and a favorite teacher.
“English and Mrs. Whaley, because she breaks everything down so no one is left behind on understanding,” said Miller.
Away from sport and school, Miller said she enjoys the little things in life which make her happy like friends and family.
“In my free time I enjoy hanging out with my family and working,” said Miller.
Excited for the next chapter of life, Miller is focused on finishing this semester and is looking forward to all of the activities that will take place for her senior class in the spring. Congrats to Miller and her teammates at Davis on a fun season.
