For Kyleigh, Coach Eric Hardison stands out as her favorite coach: “Coach Hardison, he has helped me in both basketball and softball. He knew how to coach and be an advisor.” The bond they shared, both on and off the court, has been instrumental in her growth as an athlete and an individual.
Reflecting on impactful teammates, Kyleigh singles out Hannah Vanderburg: “Hannah Vanderburg was such a good influence for me. She was the most selfless person on the court at all times.”
Kyleigh’s favorite teacher, Marisol Lockhart, taught her essential life lessons: “She has shown me how to be patient and love others.”
Approaching her senior year, Kyleigh prioritized team bonding during the off-season: “This off-season, I have been getting together with my teammates, individually and as a team, to get more bonding with one another.”
Basketball has taught Kyleigh valuable life lessons: “Basketball has taught me that you will have bad days, not only in basketball but in life.” The ability to overcome challenges, maintain a positive attitude, and support teammates through highs and lows reflects her resilience and character.
One of Kyleigh’s cherished memories involves team bonding off the court: “My favorite memory in my four years of high school basketball is going to Hannah Vanderburg’s house to do Bible study, eat and play games.”
In her final year, Kyleigh aims for improved sportsmanship and a wholehearted effort: “This season, I hope to accomplish better sportsmanship as a whole.” Playing not only for herself but also for God and her team, Kyleigh emphasizes the commitment required in her last year of high school basketball.

After high school, Kyleigh envisions a bright future: “I plan on going to college to further my softball career, along with getting my degree.”
