HARTSHORNE MINERS

BOYS

Coach: Jim Bert Curliss

22-23 Record: 6-16

The Hartshorne Miners boys’ basketball team, under the guidance of head coach Jim Bert Curliss and assistant coach Matt Henry, is prepping for the upcoming season. With the 2022 season resulting in a 6-16 record, the Miners are determined to bounce back and show significant improvement. Curliss, who brings 16 years of experience to the program, but just his second year as head coach, has instilled a sense of hard work and commitment in his team: “We are looking to improve on last year’s record. The team is working hard and ready for the season to get started. Keep an eye out for the Miners!” Brett Lindley (6-2, Jr.) is a versatile player who can dominate both inside the paint and out. His ability to excel on the court is complemented by his performance in the classroom.

Lindley is a player who is difficult to match up against, and he’s poised to make a significant impact. Natavious Bringinggood (6-2, So.) is not only tall but also skilled. He possesses a deadly three-point shot and excellent ball-handling abilities. His presence on the court will undoubtedly be a key factor for the Miners. Zack Harrison (5-11, So.) is a formidable player with strong ball-handling skills. He can efficiently drive to the rim, making him a versatile asset to the team. Cylas Baker (Sr.) is a player commitment to doing the little things correctly. He excels in defense, blocking out, rebounding and hustles relentlessly. His hardworking attitude makes him a vital component of the team. Luke Rowton (6-11, Jr.) is also expected to make an impact this season with his height and presence down low. Jacob Keith (Sr.) another player to watch this season, is not only an exceptional athlete but also a brilliant student. His dedication, intelligence and strong work ethic make him a role model both on and off the court. The Hartshorne Miners are ready to leave it all on the court this season. With an eye on improvement and a group of talented players, the Miners aim to make an impact in the 2023-24 basketball season.
