VYPE: Who are some of the biggest influences or role models that you have had?
Annabel: Some of my biggest role models are all of the coaches I have had throughout the years. They have helped me to be the player and person I am today.
VYPE: Which teammate do you enjoy working against the most in practice?
Annabel: I enjoy working against Harmony Wilks the most because she has very quick feet and it helps me to improve watching the ball.
VYPE: What has it taken to become successful in your sports?
Annabel: It has taken a lot of hard work and pushing myself to the limit.
VYPE: What is your motivation?
Annabel: Trying to get better every day motivates me, along with my coaches and teammates.
VYPE: What has been the highlight moment of your career?
Annabel: The highlight moment of my career was the moment I realized I actually liked soccer and it was not just a fun extracurricular anymore.
VYPE: Is there an opponent that you enjoy beating the most?
Annabel: I do not have an opponent that I enjoy beating the most. For me, a win is a win.
VYPE: What does it mean to you to represent your school and community when you play?
Annabel: It means a lot to me. I have been so excited to play for the McAlester High School team since I was a little kid.
VYPE: What clubs and campus activities are you involved with?
Annabel: I take dance classes at Southern Edge Dance Productions, and I’m the dance captain for the school musical.
VYPE: What teacher has had the biggest impact on your life? How? Annabel: The teacher that has had the biggest impact on my life is coach Kelly. He helped me improve a lot and was my coach for a long time.
