Alyson attributes much of her growth to her coaches, whom she deeply admires. “My biggest influences are my coaches,” she affirmed. “They dedicate so much time and effort to help us grow not only as dancers but as individuals.”

Reflecting on her academic journey, Alyson credits Mrs. Ammy Perry for her transformative impact. “Mrs. Perry’s teachings at KTC have fueled my passion for nursing,” she acknowledged, expressing gratitude for the guidance that has brought her closer to her career aspirations.

Success in pom demands relentless dedication, and Alyson’s commitment is unwavering. “Practicing before the sunrises, dancing almost every day after school and being a committed team member are essential,” she emphasized, highlighting the sacrifices required for excellence.

Among her fondest memories, Alyson cherishes the team’s achievement in reaching the finals at UDA Nationals. “It was a moment of immense pride and accomplishment,” she recalled, reminiscing about the collective effort that propelled McAlester Pom to national recognition.

In the competitive arena, Alyson draws inspiration from facing formidable rivals like Edison and Woodward. “Their rivalry fuels our drive for excellence,” she said, underscoring the competitive spirit that pushes McAlester Pom to new heights.

Within the team, Alyson finds strength in unity. “We push each other to be the best dancers and teammates,” she said.

Looking ahead, Alyson is poised for a bright future. “I plan to attend cosmetology school and pursue nursing at UCO,” she revealed, embracing new challenges with unwavering determination.
