Senior Graciee Noggle always wanted to be a Red Oak Eagle and follow in the successful footsteps of her four sisters and one brother.
“My older siblings wore the Red Oak uniform and I’ve always wanted to continue a family tradition,” said Graciee, an outfielder for the softball team who noted that her first chance to wear the purple and gold was at age 3 alongside her current teammate, Lexi Ober. “In sports and everything else, our success at Red Oak comes from hard work and passion.”
A key performer in the Eagles winning two softball state championships, Graciee wants one more chance to lift the championship trophy.
“I’ve played in five softball state tournaments and hopefully we will make it six this spring,” Graciee said. “As a senior, I just try to set a good example through my work ethic and be a shoulder for anyone who needs one just like Kacie Bell did for me my sophomore year when we won it all.”
In addition to sports, she has proven her commitment to taking care of details by earning her State FFA Degree as well as winning numerous awards while showing livestock. At the Oklahoma Youth Expo, she placed with multiple entries while showing pigs and sold her gilt for $8,000 in the final show auction.
“I often get asked how are you able to manage your FFA life along with athletics and be successful in both? I just see it as if you want something bad enough, you’re gonna find a way to get it done,” Graciee remarked. “I’ve definitely learned a work ethic along with time management and being passionate about both has given me the drive and will power to put in the extra work to succeed.”
