Stuart’s Nolan Stewart – Baseball Spotlight – Presented by Patriot Auto Group

Dedicated to his sports, Nolan Stewart, a student at Stuart High School, is a multi-sport athlete who excels in baseball, basketball, golf and skeet shooting. In addition to competition, his sporting experience has been shaped by the people and influences that surround him.

Reflecting on his influences, Nolan shares, “My dad has been my throwing, hitting and bucket buddy since I was four. He’s my biggest fan and goes above and beyond to help me be my best.” He also credits his mom for her support in basketball, and coaches Jeremy Greenway and Josh Williams for their mentorship and dedication to his growth.

Amidst his athletic pursuits, Nolan acknowledges the importance of academics, recognizing the impact of his third-grade teacher, who happened to be his mom. Her tough love and high standards instilled in him a strong work ethic, driving him to excel both on and off the field.

Nolan’s commitment to success in sports is evident in his rigorous training regimen. He emphasizes the significance of hard work and dedication, spending countless hours in the gym and cages honing his skills. “Being around the right coaches at the right time growing up and having an “ALL IN” work ethic,” he noted.

One of the highlights of Nolan’s baseball career was reaching the State tournament, a direct reflection of his team’s collective effort and determination. He finds particular joy in competing at the Pitt 8 Conference Tournament, relishing the challenge of facing tough opponents in a major competition.

In practice, Nolan finds synergy with his teammate Cody Cook, appreciating their collaborative efforts in both catching and hitting drills. He values the camaraderie among his teammates, emphasizing that every member plays a vital role in the team’s success.

Beyond sports, Nolan is actively involved in FFA and the Skeet Shooting Team, showcasing his diverse interests and contributions to the school community.

Looking ahead, Nolan aspires to continue playing baseball while pursuing higher education or vocational training after high school. For Nolan Stewart, representing his school and community on the field is about more than just winning—it’s about embodying the values of teamwork, dedication and pride in every game, the very foundation of being a Stuart Hornet.
