Valliant’s Averie Bain – Cheer Spotlight – Presented by Pine Cellular

Averie Bain is a Valliant High School senior whose journey is proof of her commitment, leadership and academic excellence. Bain’s accomplishments as an All-American cheerleader and valedictorian shine in the classroom and on the mat.

“Ever since I was a little girl, I have always looked up to the cheerleaders at my school,” Bain reflected, tracing her inspiration back to the vibrant spirit of her predecessors. It’s this admiration that propelled her to become a role model for the next generation of aspiring cheerleaders.

Bain’s senior year is a whirlwind of activities, from leading the cheer squad to serving as an FFA officer and participating in various extracurriculars. “Managing my academics and athletic activities has been one of the most challenging and rewarding parts of my senior year,” Bain shared, emphasizing her commitment to excellence in all her endeavors.

At the State Game-Day Cheer competition, Bain’s team clinched the Academic State Champions award, a testament to their dedication both on and off the mat. “It shows how hard my team works in the classroom and not just on the mat,” Bain proudly stated, reflecting on the culmination of years of hard work and perseverance.

Leading the largest squad in school history, Bain embraces her role as a mentor and motivator. “I knew it was my responsibility to always be encouraging and to remain positive,” she said, highlighting her commitment to fostering a welcoming and supportive team environment.

Behind Bain’s success stands Mrs. Stephanie Coulter, the guiding force behind Valliant’s cheer squad. “She always pushes us to be the very best at everything we do,” Bain remarked, expressing gratitude for Coulter’s unwavering support and guidance.

Looking ahead, Bain plans to pursue her passion for agriculture at Eastern Oklahoma State College while continuing her cheerleading journey. “I am going to major in agriculture and plan on trying out for their cheer squad,” she shared, poised to embark on a new chapter of growth and achievement.

Averie Bain’s impact as a cheerleader and academic standout is evident as she gets ready to take on her next big challenge. She has inspired her peers and left a lasting impression on Valliant High School.
