RB: Jaxon Morgan – 5-10, 185, Jr. – Ada: Speed, evidenced by his talents running on the 4×100 and 4×200 relay teams at the state track meet, makes the Cougars running back a threat to take it to the house.
WR: Andrew Hughes – 6-3, 175, Jr. – Ada: After winning the Class 5A high jump gold medal last spring, Hughes, a VYPE Top 100 selection, will be a go-to-guy in Ada’s up-tempo style offense plus bring lockdown coverage in the defensive secondary.
OL: Dalton Weston – 5-10, 250, Jr. – Ada: One of three returning linemen to the Cougars offensive front, Weston will use his size for leverage to help control contact in the line.
LB: Jody Trevathan – 5-10, 170, Jr. – Coalgate: The hard-nosed efforts of the Wildcats linebacker who totaled 65 tackles last year will give Coalgate a proven performer in stopping the run as well as in pass coverage.
DL: Jacob Leslie – 6-3, 225, Sr. – Konawa: The leader of the roaring Tigers defense, Leslie uses his strength to fend off opposing blocks and make bone jarring tackles.
DB: Christian Matchie – 5-9, 170, Jr. – Konawa: A multi-sport talent for the Tigers, Matchie will anchor the defensive secondary efforts in run support as well as lockdown pass coverage after guiding the offense at quarterback.
